I've always been a fan of Bosch's Jig Saws as you'll see HERE. Their oscillating tools are also top-notch and have one of the easiest and fastest tool-free blade changes on the market. Well, they've outdone themselves this year, as we got to see at the Hardware Show. Bosch is introducing the first brushless oscillating tool on the market. That's both exciting and nerve-wracking for the Bosch crew, I would think. Putting yourself out there on the forefront of technology - and keeping your fingers crossed that all goes according to plan.

Bosch Core Technology

Bosch's combination of integrated electronics and their 4.0Ah battery technology means that this is nothing like the cordless (read gutless) wonders of the past. According to Bosch, this tool and its integrated Core Technology will deliver up to 65% more power and up to 30% more runtime than previous models.

Bosch OIS Standard

The Bosch Oscillating Interface System means that you'll have plenty of choices from which to choose on the store shelves, and they should all install equally easily. Bosch's blade-change system is one of the best on market, IMHO. Read more about OIS on Bosch's site HERE.
