I've loved my Bosch jig saws for many years. I consider them the Cadillac of their kind, so I'll admit I'm a bit biased. However, that doesn't mean that if they screw something up, I won't tell you about it - quite the opposite. It would be as if they had insulted one of my children - almost.Having used the JS470E for a few years now, and knowing what an improvement it was over its predecessor, I wasn't sure how they would be able to top it. I know now. When we first got a glimpse of the new JS572E at the Bosch tool conference earlier in 2012, I was amazed at how they could almost do a complete re-design of the tool and yet keep its soul at the core. They did just that and more.

Improvements:

The Bosch JS572E has a number of features that make it superior to the JS470E:

• Twin LED lights at the blade
• Improved roller guide system
• Dust extraction system
• Swivel-mount power cord

And those are just a start. In use, the saw cuts more precisely, thanks to the addition of a second roller. I went so far as to split the case open just to get a closer look, but it's hidden inside the motor housing, darn it! I had to settle for some slides provided by Bosch to give you a better look at the inner workings.I think you'll be impressed with the tool overall.
