Woodman Tools sent us this follow-up to their original Skateplate. With the success of that accessory, I was anxious to see what a new model could do. I was not only pleasantly surprised, but actually impressed with the Skateplate H2o. It took less than 10 minutes to install on the saw - always a plus. From there, things got even better.

Testing:

We used it on an old concrete sidewalk to make some 3/16" grooves - perfect for decorative concrete stains and designs. The accessory installed easily and performed as we expected. The saw moved through the material much more smoothly than with the original base-plate and dust was virtually eliminated during use. It moved so easily, in fact, that you'll need to be ready to adjust your technique when you put it to use on an actual job. It's similar to lifting a drink to your mouth that's lighter than you expected - you nearly throw it over your shoulder.

Our one question is how well the rollers hold up over time, but that's a question only time will tell. They're easily replaced when their time comes, though.
