Shoulder Dolly Lifting Straps Review

Lifting heavy objects isn't just difficult; it can be dangerous, as well. That's why I was so impressed when I saw these Shoulder Dolly Moving Straps at the National Hardware Show - in use, they looked almost like magic. Of course, it's leverage and not magic, but whatever word you choose, these moving straps take a lot of the effort out of moving heavy objects like stoves, washing machines, mattresses, and even refrigerators.

Shoulder Dolly Features

The main component of the system are the shoulder harnesses. Both lifters must wear the harness and it must be put on correctly to ensure safe, effective use.

The central lifting strap is fed through the buckle on the front of each harness and secured with the friction roller.

Once the harnesses and straps are in place, the lifters use forward pressure against the object they're lifting and with the added leverage provided by Shoulder Dolly, their entire body (not just their arms) is used to lift the weight. I prefer this over the other lifting straps because it doesn't put undue pressure on your forearms. I've tried both and this method worked great.
