Milwaukee M12 Heated Hoodie
I hate being too cold. I also hate being too hot. For me, perfection would be 72 and sunny year round. Not likely to happen any time soon, so Milwaukee's Heated Hoodie is the next best thing - especially since chilly weather is just around the corner in most of the country.
As you probably know, Milwaukee led the charge a few years back with the original Heated Jacket. Since then, they've continued to come up with new accessories to enhance the heated experience. Take a look at the links below this post to see all of their innovations.The Heated Hoodie is comfortable, soft, and above all - toasty warm. It runs on the same M12 platform as the original jacket, and shares some of the same features. It makes a different statement, though. It says, "I'm casual and comfortable." Not that the original jacket wasn't either of those, but this hoodie is definitely both.

First and foremost, this is a very comfortable jacket. It's lined in a jersey fabric in the heated areas, and the sleeves are a fuzzy fleece. The pockets are roomy, as well.
Of course the one thing that distinguishes this hoodie over average-everyday-hoodies is the heating function, and it works very well. In my experience, the key is to get the size that fits well, and not too loose. Take into account what you'd normally wear underneath and buy accordingly. If the jacket hangs too loosely, the heat transfer isn't as effective. Again, that's my experience with these heated products.
I rarely use the High Heat (Red) option, so the battery life for me has been quite impressive, lasting several hours before a recharge is needed. Of course, the actual runtime you experience will depend on the age of your battery, ambient air temperature, and your heat setting.The hood is definitely roomy and the drawstring cinches it up to help keep out the wind. The zipper on the hoodie we tested was smooth and worked perfectly.
Another nice feature is the fact that the hoodie is both machine-washable and dryer-safe. Just remember to remove the battery and adapter :)
Milwaukee Heated Hoodie Opinion
I really like this hoodie. My only complaint - and it's minor and nit-picky - is that the battery compartment is a little awkward to reach while you're wearing the jacket. It also can be a little uncomfortable if it shifts to the back when you're getting into a vehicle, causing a bit of discomfort if you lean against it. "What a sissy"...said my inner voice. "Quit whining! At least you're not freezing to death." No, I'm definitely not - and a lot of that credit goes to the Milwaukee Heated Hoodie. If this fits your style, you'll love the way it works!
