KEEN Utility Supports Home for Our Troops Again

Third Consecutive Year

For the third consecutive year, KEEN Utility is proud to support Homes for Our Troops to help raise funds that provide for the ongoing home builds of severely wounded US veterans.

From September through December at participating KEEN Utility retailers, $5 will be donated to Homes for our Troops for every pair of KEEN Utility boots purchased. KEEN Utility will then in turn match the donation for a combined donation of $10 per pair of boots sold. This donation will be able to provide the much-needed funds to support Homes for Our Troops and their inspiring work. Since 2012, KEEN Utility and participating retailers have raised more than $46,000 in funds disbursed directly to the Homes for Our Troops organization.

Homes for Our Troops is a non-profit organization dedicated to “building specially adapted homes for our severely injured veterans mortgage-free.” The organization builds dozens of homes each year for the most severely injured service members who have been wounded in combat operations since September 11, 2001.

Through its Hybrid.Care program KEEN has been able to support numerous non-profit organizations throughout the past decade, allowing the brand to reach out to men and women across the US in need. The support of Homes for Our Troops allows KEEN Utility to deliver even more comfort and peace of mind to those individuals who sacrificed so much for our country’s safety.
