We hear the word “innovation” used a lot when describing tools. Each year the big brand tool manufacturers and the small inventors alike work increasingly harder to bring new products to the market that are faster, lighter, smarter, and just plain better to make jobs easier than anything that came before it. We like to pay homage to the ones who get it right.

That’s why we once again Tool Skool happily and humbly agreed to participate as one of the sponsors of Pro Tool Review’s 2014 Innovation Awards.  The hard working team at PTR went through hundreds of submissions to find the best and the brightest of 2014. They whittled down the winners into six categories which are: Cordless Tools, Corded Tools, Fasteners and Accessories, Pneumatic Tools, Hand Tools, and Storage and Clothing. I’m not quite sure how they pulled such a feat off! It’s impressive to say the least.

This comprehensive competition makes it very easy to check out improvements in technology for the latest cutting edge tools, as well as to see innovative ways to improve tools that have been around for a very long time.   If you want to go ahead and start your Christmas shopping list, you should start here. Thanks to Pro Tool Reviews for letting us be a part of the competition again this year! We can’t wait for 2015. We’re constantly impressed by the genius of the new tools that are released each year.   Who knows what great things are on the horizon? Maybe next the tools will actually do the work for us. But what fun would that be?
