Bosch Elevates On-the-Go Project Management with new Mobile Application and Website
Integrated Toolbox application and mobile website offer one-stop-shop for jobsite organization, product resources
Mount Prospect, Ill., July 29, 2013 – Eliminating the need for dated pen and paper notes on the go, Bosch Power Tools today announces the launch of a new mobile application featuring a wide variety of time-saving, practical tools designed to increase jobsite productivity. With the Bosch Toolbox app, professionals can record and store important site measurements and documents, track timesheets, find a Bosch dealer or service center and seamlessly browse the new Bosch mobile website for product advice and reviews.
Recognizing that smart phones have become an integral part of the tradesman’s day-to-day work, Bosch is the first to release a hybrid app, providing users with the ability to browse the mobile site within the Toolbox app. This allows users to remain in the app with access to all of the tools offered without having to switch back and forth between the browser and app.

In addition to easy access to the Bosch mobile website, the mobile app offers a number of useful tools for tradesmen. Using the building documentation option, professionals can record voice memos to store information and data for different building projects in a central location. With its photo and voice memo capabilities, a project manager or foreman can manage information for a large number of jobs simultaneously. Construction professionals and employers can also administer and enter timesheets digitally using the Toolbox app and keep close track of project progress. An export function allows timesheets and other documents saved in the app to be shared as PDF or TXT files.
The measurement camera helps users quickly and easily document data on the construction site for a variety of projects. Simply take a photo of the jobsite, enter the measured distances and angles directly into the photo, make notes on important details and send the photo by e-mail to colleagues or vendor partners. Pictures can also be used to identify tools, materials, room layouts and more for easy recall and increased efficiency.The easy-to-use unit converter quickly converts more than 50 different types of units including length, weight, volume and speed output relevant to different trades and industries.
