Last Minute Father's Day Gifts
Haven't Picked Up A Gift for Dad?
Last Minute Father's Day Gift for 2016 from The Home Depot
Father's Day 2016 is tomorrow. If you haven't gotten a gift yet, you'll need something you can go pick up now. Not even Amazon Prime will help you at this point. But, if you are lucky enough to have DIY dad, then Home Depot has some great last minute gifts and Dear Ole Dad will never know you are a procrastinator.
Gifts Under $20
This is one of our favorites. DEWALT's folding, retractable utility knife is a perfect for any dad. For the car, the tool bag, the office, and anyplace else. And it's under $10.
Most of the time when Brad is in the shop, he's wearing a Coast Headlamp. This one is a great bargain for dad at $14.97.
Milwaukee has put out some pretty cool knives in the last few years. This two-pack is a great bargain. You get to give Dad two knives for the price of one: the Fastback Flip Pocket Knife and the Bonus Flatback Utility Knife.
From under $10 to under $20, Milwaukee's Multi-Bit Screwdrivers make a great gift for any dad. These are high quality and you'll finally have given him a gift he uses all the time.
Gifts Under $50
My dad is NOT a tool guy, but he does do some yardwork and he likes to sit by the pool. A couple of years ago, I gave him this Ryobi cordless fan and he loves it. And they've upgraded it to either run on the One+ 18V Lithium Ion battery, or you can plug it in to run on AC power.
Gifts Under $75
Ryobi was one of the first to come out with a multi-port charger for their 18V One+ tool lineup. We have two of the that are constantly charging batteries in the shop right now. The newer version is a little streamlined and it's cheaper. That's a bonus for you and a great gift for dad.
If dad already has some Ryobi 18V One+ tools, then this is a good "tool only" item to add to his collection. This cordless hedge trimmer eliminates the worry of cutting through the cord and it's lightweight and gets the job done.
I just saw this for the first time at The Home Depot recently. Our shop has a much more expensive auto-retractable extension cord, but this one beats it for price and availability any time. I can't wait to get one to see who it works. Come on, we all need more power in the shop.
Gifts Under $100
If dad loves a good bargain, then you can't beat this one. This combo as pictured below is on sale for Father's Day. Normally just the gear cart and the tool box would be $98, but for a limited time you can get the gear cart, the tool box, and the extra organizer for under $100.
Ridgid always does a nice job of putting tools out with "bonuses" for holidays. Dad can always use a wet / dry vac and this one is already at a good price and comes with the bonus blower vac. You can't beat that.
Dad's Dream Gifts
Still Brad's very favorite drill / driver. The Milwaukee M12 FUEL Hammer Drill / Driver offers compact size, light weight, combined with the power of FUEL. Who could ask for more?
This is any "tool guy's" dream come true. The drawers shut softly, it's well-built, it rolls well, it locks, holds all kinds of tools and accessories. Basically, it says "I love you Dad!"
Okay, you procrastinators, get out there and shop! All of these bargains await you at The Home Depot.
