WordLock Padlock – TLW

It’s a mean, cruel, tough world out there – and there’s bad news! The truth is, some folks like to steal. Use their ignorance to your advantage.

WordLock

The seemingly endless number of word possibilities means security, according to the manufacturer.

This deceptively simple lock is a great way to secure everything from your bicycle to a lawnmower. It’s perfect for kids, too – no more memorizing combinations, just a word. Here’s how it works.

How Does WordLock Work?

With the lock in the open position, you turn the little slot on the end with a screwdriver or coin to the “reset” position.

Setting the combination word is pretty simple. Trying to “pick” this lock – notsomuch.

Once there, you can turn the dials on the lock cylinder to spell anything the combination of letters will allow.

How lucky was I that these letters all lined up?

When you’re satisfied with your “lock word”, simply turn the slot back to the original position and you’re all set. Now all you have to do is remember the word. I just have to check my license.

Code is all set, lock er up….

How Many WordLock Combinations Are There?

According to the manufacturer, the WordLock is secure because of its 2 5/8 inch hardened steel shackle and body. They also claim that there are 100,000 different letter combinations possible with this lock (I’ve only counted to 47,000 so far, but I have the whole weekend to finish).

Finally, it’s weatherproof, according to their website, so it can stand whatever Mom Nature throws at it.

It won’t  LOL, ROFLMAO, TWEET, or AYSOS…but it may help your kids learn to S-P-E-L-L.
