If you’ve ever purchased new sheets, bedspreads or pillow cases, you’ll find that most of them come in re-usable plastic bags. Some of these bags even have reasonably sturdy zippers!
Over the years, I’ve collected many of these handy, zippered bags (thanks mostly to my ex-wife who was constantly buying new sheets and other soft goods). I’ve finally come up with a great way to give them a second life: Use them to store unused tools or household items.
I’m using this bag to store a humidifier that I bring out on occasion during the cold, dry winter months. It’s also a handy place to keep extra filters. The bag keeps it dust-free and ready-to-use. Portable tools that get used every few months are a great candidate for this storage method.
