There was a time I think all of us felt Senco had taken their last breath. Thankfully, we were wrong and we’ll leave it at that for now. If this kit is any indication of their future direction, I believe that Senco has great potential to regain their status in the pneumatic tool world.
The PC1279 is a combination kit that includes the compressor, air hose, 3 trim nailers and a really cool storage bag that you can see in more detail in the video review.
The compressor has several interesting and very useful features that make it a pleasure to work with. It’s not overly-heavy, so you won’t break your back loading it into the truck. The nailers also have useful features that make them a pleasure to use. I found only a couple of issues with them that I go over in the review below, as well.
All in all, I like the value, the thought that went into the kit, but especially the fact that it’s “one-stop shopping” for anyone who wants to make a quick and easy decision on their purchase. The Senco brand has always stood for quality in my opinion – I’ve used their tools for years. This kit didn’t disappoint. Take a look:
