Bosch Pin Nailer FNS138-23 – First Look

Pin nailers have been around awhile, although they still have a ways to go to come anywhere near market saturation. As a matter of fact, there are those who’ve never heard of such an animal – such a pity, since they’re one of the coolest tools on the shelves.

The Bosch FNS138-23 Pin Nailer has new, innovative features that could make it stand out against the competition.

Pinners, as they’ve become know, are known for their ability to leave almost unnoticeable holes in woodwork. Since they shoot tiny little pins, they’re perfect for temporarily holding molding in place temporarily, or until the glue sets. I’ve had a Bostitch for years and love using it. Now, it’s Bosch’s turn to show the tool world what it can do within this field.
